Very lovely, Leslie - did you leave a link over at Rebecca's place so that everyone there can see what you wrote?

Leslie,
It is a beautiful haiku. They do dance and they are a lovely deep color. Such a sensitive and artistic eye you have my dear!

Beautiful imagery in your haiku inspired by your pretty pottery.
Was the improvement erudite? I did have to just check I had the right meaning before using it!

Don't you just adore the possibilities in the haiku form? A sliver of an idea infects the imagination. . . with possibility, associations.
All with such economy of language.

Beautiful--you captured the essense of the pattern and did an outstanding job of working metaphor and personification into the haiku. I love it! Are you free to come to Ohio to teach a class on Haiku?!:)
