music maker

his fingers strum deftly

cradling fretwork

bringing forth music from the secret places

of sorrows long borne, love refined

joy running deep

his prose, his poetry, his worship

to the One

who gave the song.

Beautiful. Your coverlet/bedspread/quilt is lovely--soothing yet adding some perk to the room.
Love your dog--he takes great pictures---wish my cats were as cooperative as your dog.

I'm off to Texas---will try to check in on daughter's computer.

You have my email address--I will check it to if possible.

I'll still be open to God's jabs, so be assured of prayer.

Leslie, I could show you a very similar photo of my husband sitting on our patchwork quilt playing his guitar. The only difference would be three kitties in place of the dog. Have a great day, soul sister :)

The solace of music--I see it in my son. Your words capture it well.
