Beautiufl Leslie. These words are so quiet and so few, yet they speak volumes to my heart.
I'm thankful for nature walks in my city too.

It's hard to be grateful and grumpy at the same time, isn't it?

Leslie, what are those berries? So pretty.

Deb, the red maple is flaming, incredibly, at a local park. I say incredibly because the temperatures have been topping out at 85 degrees around here. So that little tree is defying the odds. I love that.

Jodi, the berries are from the Beautyberry bush that grows wild in the south. Here's a wikipedia article if you're interested:

for new friends
for kindness
for compassionate hearts
for hot chocolate in bed when it's too cold and too difficult to get up
for "I love you" whispers, giggles, hugs and kisses
gratitude always.

I love beauty berry bushes! Bought one once, but it died before I got it in the ground. Your picture reminded me to plant one next spring :)
