I remember that rhyme. Well, I remembered it when I saw it. So, thank you for the reminder of something good, and for your lovely photo.

Oh! One of my favorites! I still can't stop myself from reciting this one on a good moon night.

Thanks for your sweet comment at Emily's, Leslie. Time flies, doesn't it?

You have the coolests hanging art! I'm always thinking, "Wow, that's really cool!"
I vaguely remember this rhyme--it's a nice way to distract the mind and the body from what ails it.

When I was a little girl my mom sang that song to me and my siblings and her mom sung it to her. That was only the first half. The second half went like this:

Now run along home
and jump into bed,
Say your prayers
and cover your head.
These very same words
I say unto you,
You dream of me
and I'll dream of you!

Leslie, this was my son Alex's favorite nursery rhyme when he was a toddler. Any time when we took him outside at night, first he would shout, "the moon, the moon!" Then he would make me recite this rhyme. He loved it. Good memories.

It's so nice that so many people remember nursery rhymes, I hope they are still told.
