sky songs

heavens declare His glory,

it is said,

day unto day

night unto night

sun, stars, moon, clouds

singing beauty to the earth

and I

believe.

One of the things for which I am truly grateful is that my children appreciate the beauty of a brilliant sunset or a star-filled sky. The heavens declare, indeed.

I'm believing with you. I've never taken a successful photo of the moon; you're so good at it. And birds too, of course!

Simply beautiful. I recently enjoyed a morning the moon forgot to set, as I walked with the Creator of it all.

A beautiful story of the sunset, Leslie as told by an appreciative and artful narrator. Thank you for gracing us with this natural splendor.

Beautiful photos. I think the dark silhouettes of the trees are what really highlights the beauty of the skies.
Love the verse---how can we look at such skies and trees and not believe?

It's always amazing how the times it's easiest for me to believe (and hardest not to) have nothing to do with doctrines being thrown at me or thought systems explained. Good stuff.

Hi Leslie,
You took some lovely sky photos. I think the last one is my favorite. I like your Christian sentiments, too.

Thanks for your comment on my last week's SkyWatch post.

I realized recently that sunrises are even more beautiful than sunsets.

I was just reminded today of the amazing value of a beautiful sky, and the glory of God it expresses. Thank you for your poem to bring it all together.
