blue skies and english tea

The rain has blown through, leaving us with a cool, breezy, sunny day. I dug out my warm socks, wool sweaters, and fuzzy slippers, and now I'm sitting here remembering yesterday's walk and sipping English Breakfast tea and being grateful for this moment of peace and comfort.

We had snow blow through this morning and the sky still occassioning spits flurries. Only the roofs have snow on--nothing on the ground.
So I too am in a warm sweater, socks, and flannel pj bottoms enjoying the view and thinking of your view. :)

What a beautiful photo, Leslie. I love those little clouds hanging out around the tree.
It's cool here (about 52F) but bright and sunny. Lindy is sunbathing in her usual long-haired coat, and I'm contemplating taking her for a walk. It won't be a long walk like she has with her dad, but he's not available to do it today, so I'm going to try.
Hope you are feeling well.

Beautiful sky... the flower in my post is a species of Carphephorus. The common name is Paint Brush.

I like it. a lot. Simple, yet tells a story well. Peaceful.

A lot different the last 2 days than the first few when we arrived in Florida - we're acclimatizing ;-)

Have a great Sunday !
