eyes to see

do you think they wonder

why the sky is blue?

or do they simply

see

What interesting profiles these birds have, and what a beautiful picture they make. I somehow never thought of ibis in a tree. I don't know why, because I really know very little about them, I've just never seen pictures of them in a tree before. Learn something new every day, as I always say.

Beautiful ... something Japanese about the simple rhythm of the composition....

Beautiful photo. I wonder what an animal that can walk on earth and fly in the air think and see.

It is a lovely composition and very Asian in theme and grace. I love it, Leslie. I am reminded of a story I read years ago about the Ibis when I was young I am not sure that I should share it with you. I think that I shan't. It is too sad and this is so lovely. Thank you for this.

Beautiful capture Leslie !

I often wonder whether birds really enjoy their 'bird's eye view'. People like to look at things from the tops of mountains or tall buildings, but what if people could fly like birds ! Imagine the photo ops !

They look like a couple spending time together much as we take walks together or have coffee and talk over our day.
I wonder how you say, "So how was your day, dear?" in ibis talk.
It is a beautiful composition, Les, and I agree with the others--a bit of an Asian flare in this one. :)

LOVE the Asian flair too in this image, Leslie! I believe they see... and feel a sense of wonder we can't imagine. I think animals are even more in tune subtly with nature than us humans. BEAUTIFUL post... :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
