giving thanks

winding, light-filled path,

silver scattered, strewn with gold

drawing me onward

thankful today for:

goodness and mercy along the way

a visit with my favorite uncle

brisk, bright, breezy days

surprise bouquets

warm boots

I had lots written here, then wanted to enlarge your picture, so lost what I'd written! (Must have been lies. LOL)
Beautiful photo, beautiful words, Leslie. I'm fascinated by the bush in the foreground with the purple things (berries?) on it. What is it? It's lovely.
Today I'm thankful for this delightful new way of making friends. I would never have imagined it when I was young. Amazing!

so much to be grateful for. and we must remind each other, lest we forget in those moments of feeling blue.

You've given us another Haiku, haven't you?
As you know, stopping to think of what we have to be thankful for is so important, more so on some days than others.
Beautiful picture--a stark contrast to mine.

Amazing how each new day can bring blessings ("morning by morning new mercies I see").

I'm uplifted when I come here Leslie (I just read some of your older posts too).

I wore my warm boots today, and I was thankful for them. It's been busy here. I'll answer your email soon. xo

TOO CUTE! Our Charlie does the same thing... We think we've "lost" him, but he's just under all the bed pillows & blankets. Maybe we should join our pets and break the rules?! ;o) Happy Days, Leslie ((HUGS))
