The first globe reminds me if a Van Gogh sky.

have i ever asked you what type of camera you use? this is my mission...i am camera-less at the moment.
(husband, yes the naughty one, left battery recharger in brazil. camera certainly not worth the price of a new one. so i am on the hunt.)

in all fairness....he cleaned right beside me!

Actually my birthday was on the 11th, but I've been sick so I opened my presents belatedly... thanks for the sweet birthday wishes!

And Joyce, I can't believe you have the same ornament! That makes me smile : )

Oh, sweetie, too sick to open birthday presents is very sick indeed. I'm so sorry.
These photos are wonderful. I hope to be able to take something as fine some day.
My birthday is more than 2 weeks away but I've already opened two birthday presents. One is a new camera I haven't been able to figure out, and I wanted to learn about it before we go away in December. I got it because it has a viewfinder (old people, you know) and 26X zoom, but I'm pretty sure it can do macros, too.
In the meantime, I enjoy your pictures VERY much.

You know how much I love the hanging 'objects' you take photos of! These ornaments are awesome.
I can't figure out which is my favorite, although I agree with Emily that the one looks like a Van Gogh sky. Where do you buy these?
Happy Belated Birthday, friend!:)

Beth, we find these blown glass globes at a local craftsman's gallery. Here's the link if you want to take a look at their site:
