post-thanksgiving randomness

the skies are satisfyingly grey and the weather mildly cool. i've been taking a few photos, reading breakfast at tiffany's (which i snatched from my sister's house on thanksgiving day), wondering if i have the energy or motivation to bake a batch of cinnamon bread, contemplating a walk with the family (and the dog, of course.)

all things considered, not a bad way to spend the saturday after thanksgiving...

This room looks so comforting Leslie...definitely not a bad way to spend the day.

What a beautiful room! I'll pretend I'm visiting you there.
I never knew there was a book "Breakfast at Tiffany's" because I always associate the name with the movie starring the the lovely Audrey Hepburn.
I always say "learn something new every day" and this is my second for today. By the time I get to the second one, I've forgotten what the first one was. :)
Take good care of yourself.

The room looks warm and welcoming. I can imagine curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book.
What is that stool-like contraption? It looks really cool and comfortably helpful for those who need to elevate their feet(like me).:)

"Satisfyingly gray" :)
I'm going to steal that phrase; love it for a nice overcast day!
Your home looks like you!

Spending a chunk of day Reading Breakfast at Tiffany's sounds wonderful - what's it like? I've only seen the movie.
