love song

the cardinal is singing to his love,
and to spring,
and to the red maple budding in the garden,
and the fuzzy caterpillar blooms
of the slash pine,
and the promise of warm days,
and nest building,
and brown-speckled eggs,
and
new life.

That's beautiful. I know it's a relief to all those who have endured such a harsh winter to know and see that spring will come.

beautiful, beautiful my friend...so lovely to witness spring as it slowly creeps into the northern hemisphere. It will be a while yet before we see fuzzy blossoms, but I heard some new birds returned this morning.

Sounds lovely--if I squint hard enough I can see it happening here--well still only in my mind, but it will come.
I love how your expeimenting with your photos--this one is so cool with what looks like bubbles of light protecting the blossom. Lovely.:)

I love your space here, Leslie - peace and beauty. I just scrolled through 4 posts and breathed, "aaahhhhh," with each one. Thank you for simple blessings.
