I'm not sure I like the look of that alligator but then, I am not comfortable with big reptiles. The other photos are beautiful.

No offense, but the boat seems mighty small and powerless considering gators are around!

what a day to end all days. i will take the wild beast if it means floating over calm water beside you for any amount of time.
i rarely want anything. truly. yet i have a compelling desire for a canoe...how it feels floating, nearly flying across water, weightless.....leaving pain in the shores shadows and greeting playful breezes, lilies, water birds...peace.
living in a body so racked with pain, floating in a canoe is like living a prayer, holy, pure salvation.

thanks for lifting me outside myself and taking me along.
