So true. I love Tolkien. His writing just takes me away to another, much better, place.

Love the play of light and shadows on the ferns and the shutter/door.
The quote made me think and I realized how true it was. It was almost a 'duh' moment, you know?!:)

A lot of preparation for growth happens in the shadows, doesn't it?

on a morning where my head is all in shadows from restless sleep this quote makes too much sense!! but it is lovely and true, and the photo is lovely, too.

The Lord is my Shepherd.......He restores my soul, yes though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for He is with me his protecting leading staff comforts me.

He has prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies and anointed my head with His healing oil my cup overflows, surely goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
