everything changes

the maple is full-green, now,

bare branches clothed
fluttering,
sun-dappled,
lush
where once
the thread-like blossoms
offered their fragile beauty
to the skies.

I love "full green" - very Rosemary Sutcliff. And the idea of fragile blossoms reaching toward the sky is just wonderful.

There is a quietness here, the beauty of the scene both radiating and reflecting. Good poem.

Green cloaked trees already... I close my eyes and imagine... We're still waiting for even blossoms here! :o) Such grace & serenity in this image... Happy Day, Leslie ((HUGS))

Beautiful my friend! I like the splash of spring in your corner. Things are still in shades of brown and grey with a hint of green here. Soon we will be bursting with color. xo

Um, so beautiful -- trees that grace each season.

This swept me away reminiscently, thanks.

I like your concentration on the essence of the maple tree---bare, full, blossom -- simple observations that speak to timelessness and promise of renewing hope.

One of my favorite things to do is to come here and scroll through several posts in a row -- to read your grace-full words and drink in your pictures. Thanks for always bringing me peace, Leslie -- and I hope you are feeling well (better?).
