giving thanks...

"We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure
so that we despaired even of life.
Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death.
But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves
but on God, who raises the dead."
—II Corinthians 1:8-9

sometimes i feel like a tree whose lifeless branches
will never bear fruit again
and then, somehow
the sap rises
and life springs
new.

thanking God for each moment
of life.
thanking you,

for praying.

You are an inspiration - so giving despite your own tribulations. Thank you for that and for this beautiful post --

I was thinking this very thing at our intercessory prayer gathering on Sunday night. Sometimes it seems all too much, but then God made me understand. It's just that very spot He uses to show us how He can fill us and increase our own compacity. To Him be the glory. I see your branches in flower. xo

"somehow the sap rises and life springs new." Oh Les, if we are patient and open our hearts then we understand that this is so...renewal is but a breath away.

I too am grateful, to share this journey with you my friend.
