Your ocean sun photos are wonderful, it makes me want to take a beach vacation-I've been away too long.

Beautiful -- I think of the sadness inherent in that passage, perhaps the "aloneness of it or the aloneness that prompted it -- and then I think of the promise of sunrise, each and every day.

the enormity of this...and the promise of a bright sun above us all

so good to know..isn't it? reminds me of this song with the two pair of footprints in sand because he's walking next to us..and in hard times it's only one pair of footprints because he's carrying us..

A fitting reminder for the coming week. It's always uplifting to know that we are never alone.

We need to remember that we are never alone no matter how lonely we may feel. It was His promise.

It is a beautiful sunset, Leslie. And I think that I see a little sandpiper on the shore there. So actually, we are not alone, although I know that you were speaking of something far deeper. But I like to think of birds as spiritual visitors, and there one is, right in the foreground of your lovely picture. Today I took Fergus in his carrier on a walk to the ocean and saw a lovely sunset. I thought to myself, "I am alone," but I was not really. Fergus and I were together and truly, my heart was so full looking at how beautiful the world was. We are not alone. You are right my friend. I am thinking of you.
xoxoxo,
Noelle

One of my favourite passages. It brings such comfort. Isn't that what we really want, at the root of it all?
