A peace on this lovely day at the sea...lucky you :) We're up north waiting for an afternoon storm to come in while we attend our friends' 50th wedding anniversary celebration at a gorgeous club on the river...we won't be able to go outside :(

A beautiful scene. I hope that it offers you a peaceful day. Here is something beautiful for you, my friend.

A Moments Indulgence
by Rabindranath Tagore

I ask for a moment's indulgence to sit by thy side. The works
that I have in hand I will finish afterwards.

Away from the sight of thy face my heart knows no rest nor respite,
and my work becomes an endless toil in a shoreless sea of toil.

Today the summer has come at my window with its sighs and murmurs;
and the bees are plying their minstrelsy at the court of the flowering grove.

Now it is time to sit quiet, face to face with thee, and to sing
dedication of life in this silent and overflowing leisure.

Wonderful, Leslie. The reflection really does look like a path across the water, leading to a land of rest.

Beautiful, stunning, breathtaking---all and more.
You matched the verse and photo wonderfully. I love the sun coming through and the line of light across the water.
Your other 'surreal' photo was cool. I like it when pics come out that way, but I'm not sure others do. :-)
