shadows of the night.

Thank you for your visit to my blog and the comment.
I love the earliest light each morning. I am usually up to see it start to brighten my window. Today it was bright with a beautiful sky, but it has darkened and the Thunder Beings are talking to me. It is getting darker by the minute.
I love the haiku and the photo would make a reat shadow shot.

Much Peace sent your way.

No morning light here today. Cloudy, but that is okay. We need a break from the sun and the heat and the drought. Hope the light will be replaced by some rain!

Love the image and the words ... the light on the wall ... on the art ... welcoming and beginning again.

my favourite light moments - the moment when the sun is half above the horizon - whether at the start of the day or at the end.

Sometimes morning light is so diffident, so tentative...but it is enough...

Leslie,
I imagine the morning light on your lovely face and beautiful smile casting away the shadows of the night and offering brightness to all who know and love you. This is a wonderful haiku!

Thank you for this lovely reminder, Leslie, to greet each new day with joy, the promise to be loving and grateful, to find hope and humor. Amazing how your header dovetails so harmoniously with your haiku... I love how your photo echoes the haiku... the shadow lifts as it reaches the face of the flower. A lovely, lovely haiku of the heart.
