A very peaceful photo. I like the symbolic of the leave next to the knot hole. The hole representing the unknown, and the beautiful leave is a reminder no matter what tomorrow will brings beauty will be there. xo
Yes, getting ready for Fall, or at least thinking about it. Last week it was near 100 degrees, today it will hardly get above 70. Nice ohoto, and I agree with Joyce, very peaceful. I like that.Peace
Okay the whisper of fall is beautiful language, but I am so not ready to let summer slip from my hands!
Silent beauty drops A soundless footstep on grassAutumn solitudeWhat a beauty!!
I love Fall leaves. The color, the shape, the promise that they hold. Nice photo, Kimmie!
I'm with Nancy...so reluctant to let summer slip away.
I love the imagery of colour... red leaf, green world. We had summer back in June so I reckon fall snuck up on the UK whilst we were asleep!!I think your DD Emily writes very well - perhaps she gets that from you? I like her style (found her blog via your post "Bragging rights"!!)
Your image speaks softly of the language we all connect through, the natural world and circle of life.Have a lovely weekend.Sue x
Love is what anchors us in a world of contradictions.
This feels magical to me :)
dear leslie, such a beautiful tender haiku embracing the inevitability of change.i love that comfort of knowing we will walk through all the seasons together in the colour of love and care.

It seems that everyone is so totally ready for fall this year. We had our first taste of it today, feeling a chill on our evening walk - how refreshing!Lovely haiku!
Yes! That's perfectly lovely!
Such a simple, yet beautiful post.
I love your haiku. I love the intimation of the beauty of difference and how it heralds a change of season and of thinking too I should say. xoxo,Noelle
Love does stand out in stark contrast to the realities of the world.Very expressive image.
