As a grandmother, one often wonders what their grandchildren will associate with them. Your association of this beautiful flower with your grandmother is heart warming....I am sure she would be proud....

What a beautiful flower. Roses remind me of my grandma. Her name was Rose and she had this beautiful crimson rose growing in her garden.

Loved that post.

And I love azaleas because you do. And because my husband does. That's a different kind of love, but love.

isn't it wonderful how flowers can trigger memories...especially of our grandmothers?

my grandma and lilies of the valley go hand in hand. she's been gone now for 24 years and yet the vision of her in my head is so vivid and fresh.....xo
