i picked some flowers for you...

...to thank you for all your warm and kind and funny comments on my anniversary post. I've been offline for a few days... sick again, but distracting myself with The Hunger Games trilogy, which my daughter has been badgering me to read for about a month.

Just a small note of warning if you're thinking about reading it - it's completely addicting. Which partly explains my lack of visits to your lovely blogs.

I'm on the third book, so I ought to resurface, soon...

Thank you for the flowers; they are beautiful and so needed after all the dark, rainy, cold days we have had....

I love reading too and it can take over my life....we want to hear all about these books when you get through. I am not familiar with them.....

Have fun reading....

it's good to be 'offline' sometimes, and not just where internet is concerned.
But don't worry, we'll all still be here when you return - as you can see! X

I'm always addicted to something. it's delicious and irresponsible. I can't help it. Books man, they kill me. As does Downton Abbey...as does cheese.
Those are my addictions my dear. I'm not even counting dr. pepper...that's a necessity.

Enjoy! Feel better!

My son wants me to read those, but I just have no desire to. I have a hard time with the YA genre. I just don't like them!

Well, first off, a (belated) Happy Anniversary - it's becoming a rare gift to have been blessed with 29 years of togetherness. (we too give thanks for being able to walk on a beach at this time of the year !).

And those flowers - just for us - are also a wonderful gift, so thank you !

Happy Anniversary, belated Leslie! Your anniversary walk at the beach was sooo sweet. May the love keep growing and blooming. :o) Very sorry you're not feeling too well these days... It's nice to have little distractions as such times. Enjoy your reading. I've not read this trilogy...must go see about it! I just finished reading book by Thich Nhat Hanh, The Energy of Prayer--very illuminating, and has me being more focuses and intentional about my prayer practice. Anyway, sending healing vibes your way... Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

Ahhh, take the time to escape...we'll always be here when you get back. I'm sorry to hear you've not been feeling good again...I've been nursing a hubby who after outpatient surgery hit a crisis and I had to call 911. Very scary.
