looking from the outside, in.

i spend a lot of time looking out through windows...

but on this day i viewed things from a different perspective.

it was grainy and flaking and faded.
but it still held a lovely reflection of beauty,
and do you see those pinpoints of light?
i think they were fireflies...

Little points of light...that makes me think of how God shines light into various areas of our life for us to see things more clearly......You captured the beauty in something old and tattered.......

I hope you are having a good day....

Interesting composition. It is always interesting to see things from the outside looking in, I think. It gives us a totally different perspective.

Isn't it neat when we step back and LOOK at something with a new view point? I love the challenge.

The graininess is really cool.

"And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness does not overcome it." I cling to this.

They remind me of pressed flowers that have been laminated.

I think you're a point of light. And the faded beauty of the photos is charming.

it's simly wonderful to "see" thing from another perspective... if you are having fireflies inside your house, you are certainly a lucky girl ; )

Little lights... yes, very like fireflies! I like that idea... And love all the chipped, flaking paint & wood. Sometimes another view, a change in perspective yields new insights, feelings, experiences. This post is so subtle, yet says so much--lovely, Leslie. :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

Your photos always manage to show me something I overlooked, some detail that was missed before the lens captured it. I especially like those firefly lights.
