easter with the queen of whimsy

My mother is the grande dame of decorating for holidays, and visiting her at Easter is like a trip to Beatrix Potter's world. If I was really smart and a bit less lazy, I would figure out how to make one of those photo mosaics. But since I am currrently in some sort of post-Easter daze, I don't have the brain-power or energy to figure it out. So you're stuck with a plain old post of a few million images from her home and studio...

What yummy colors. Thanks for sharing the joy. The cup of scissors, oh my! I love when people see art in ordinary objects and arrange them so.

"Queen of Whimsey"... perfect title; that's exactly how I remember her back when she helped decorate your place :)

Some people really have a knack with crafty things. My mum creates lovely stuff. I just look at it and despair and what little talents I have.

I have a friend like that. When you walk into her house, you expect the Easter bunny to appear. :)
