So very true ... engaging photo.
This reminds me of something I heard about life between the dash. You know on tombstones dates, birth - death? I heard a good quote once on something to the effect of how we fill the dash. I agree with your friend. The photo is engaging, splendidy I would say.
Indeed. I agree. What lies within can be so deep and mysterious ...
Very interesting photo, Leslie, and such a true quotation from Emerson.Luv, K
Very mysterious, intriguing, and beautiful.
Intriqueing photo--catching just a glimpse of you. You are faint whisp these days as you and I fight our battles. It is what is within--without the within, we would be nothing.
So true . . . I have this quote hanging in our bathroom.
What a stunning photo -- Leslie, you have a series, I think. Have you ever thought of hanging them together?
I really like the art piece. Did you make it? xo
No Joyce, I didn't make it. My mother, Sue Rovelstad, did this engraving, titled, "Bird," when she was in grad school. It is held by the Library of Congress, but you can't view it on their site. Her self-portrait (which I've also photographed somewhere on this blog) is held by the Brooklyn Museum, and that one is viewable on their site. I think she's a terrific artist :)
Such a complex picture...but you do manage to capture the behind, before, and within!
Quirky and really cool. Really.
loving your arm there. at work, like that.n♥
I like this inner self portrait. It's a philosophical photo.
