when the world crumbles around us

Beneath it all,

the beauty and the pain,

below the swift rivers which carry

our hopes and nightmares;

undergirding the fathoms of our loneliness,

the canyons of our despair,

the wild woods through which we wander,

is You.

Awesome words. Without that Hope, we are nothing.

Our hope is built on nothing less ...

Praying, Leslie ... thinking of you.

Praying for you Leslie and God certainly does hold us in His righteous right hand.

How hope-less are those without THAT Hope.

May God grant you strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.

Seeking the light of hope keeps up going, especially during the darker times. Thinking of you, my friend and holding you in my heart. We're just back from our trip the US. Lovely to catch up here with you! :o) ((HUGS))

"undergirding the fathoms of our loneliness"

My very favorite line. It sounds like Sutcliff.
