the zombie plague and other matters.

I seem to have contracted a cold/flu virus that is extremely annoying. You know that "walking dead" feeling? My brain is especially fuzzy, which leads me to suspect that I may have been infected with a zombie plague. On the other hand, I don't remember being bitten by any zombies lately, so it's probably just a virus after all. In any case, I can't seem to focus on anything more than a warm cup of tea and mindless television.  So forgive me if I become even worse at visiting your blogs than I have been already. I'll catch up with you soon, okay?

Oh, I just realized the title of this post says, "and other matters." There really aren't any (or perhaps there are too many to recount?) I just liked the way it sounded for a title :)

Feel better soon! It might make you laugh to know that my son Oliver has asked for a Zombie Survival kit for Christmas. They're sold out on Amazon, thankfully!

I was just thinking about you, and there you are. I've been sick with this bronchial thing for 3 weeks, and it's no fun at all. The doctor gave me a prescription for cough syrup and said I'd be better in a week. He was wrong.
I hope you're better soon, because you don't need a cold/flu thing to complicate your life any more than it already is.
Mindless TV sounds like a good idea. I love the Home & Garden channel.
Love, K

I hate that woolly-headed feeling....is it me or have viruses got nastier over the last few years?
There are some really spiky ones out there, so look after yourself and I hope you feel better soon.

Get well soon Leslie. At least you have a cold as an excuse. I have been sitting here for the past hour trying to come up with something coherent to write and failing miserably. I am blaming it on the hectic Christmas season :)

Even if a Zombie did happen to bite (or scratch) you, or maybe even eat your brains, you're still able to be warm and funny. Feel better, my friend, and don't worry about us out here in blog world. We know where to come find you :)

Looks as if you still have a sense of humor (the title) in spite of those nasty bugs.
Take care, little one

Perhaps the title should have been 'the zombie plague and nothing matters'.

Hope you're doing better by now.

Enjoyed the posts I'd missed.
