This is so peaceful and lovely. The blue dishes in the lower left hand corner of the first photo ... are they from Poland?

Debbie, I bought the window, years ago. (Someone more crafty than I made it!) But this is how it was made: someone started with a salvaged window, then pressed dried flowers (and a butterfly) underneath plexiglass that was cut to the size of each pane. The plexiglass was glazed in, just like a regular window. Originally, the flowers had a lot of color, but over the years of being out in my back porch, they've faded to a monochromatic silhouette.

And Susan, the blue pottery in the first photo is indeed, from Poland (by way of my local T.J. Maxx!)

I was about to leave a comment on your bee post, but then I got distracted by the loveliness of this one. And a quote from Anne and Marilla? Swoonworthy!

I am in the middle of a three-week visit with my daughter and away from home. I am so very grateful for the time with my girl. But home is sounding awfully dear right now.
