heraldic.

Today my eyes beheld your glory
in the clouds.

Today a mockingbird sang me peace.

Today a breeze caressed my arm
to quiet the voices of my pain.

Today my heart beat blood and
tears and regret and a faint rhythm of hope

in a Love that wins.

i wish i could take your pain away. that is petty, perhaps, in all the times you've suffered and re-suffered. but i am so sorry.
and yes, re: my status update, i imagine you hate dr's offices w/ a passion, esp lately.
hugs dear friend and keep feeling those windy caresses and hearing his still quiet voice.

I always think a mockingbird must be such a delight. I've never seen or heard one.
If human power could take away your pain, I would do it. Meanwhile, God and the mockingbird make a lovely team.
