I used to help my children find and raise Monarch caterpillars and then watch them transform into butterflies. I remember watching my son sitting in his pjs, thumb securely lodged in his mouth, staring transfixed as his caterpillar munched away. Butterflies hold beautiful reminders and provide powerful imagery for me.
