“Days decrease, / And autumn grows, autumn in everything.”

HI Leslie! So nice to meet you today!

What an interesting collection you photographed. All seeds. And yet the verse speaks of time marching on...
I think the photo is so hopeful, don't you? Seeds promise a new beginning.

I guess we have to experience the oncoming cold and weather to come to the Spring. I hope we'll be reborn then!

You are very talented. And thought provoking too.
Happy Weekend!

Slowly, slowly, we'll get there too. It's very humid here right now. I guess a storm is brewing somewhere.

ooooh, what a gorgeous cone
and, that quote!
I can never see pine cones without remembering fondly the chunks of time I spent outdoors playing, playing, playing...sweet childhood freedom kind of memories.
Stirs my heart in an Autumn kind of way:)
Thanks for the melancholy stir,
(melancholy is just perfect in Autumn, don't you think?)
