april recap

A much loved daughter turned 24.

Zebra Longwings made their first spring appearance,

and so did the Easter basenji ;)

Mama duck watched over her baby

while snake birds preened.

Jasmine burst into riotous bloom on the back fence,

jacarandas perfumed the air,

and scarlet ibis brightened their beaks

according to the latest in spring fashion.

The daisies paid them no mind.

Even the shadows gave way to light.

As always, it's good to hear from you, to see your work and read your words. The photos are extraordinary -- each one of them. Of course, your daughter is the most beautiful of all the things in nature!

Beautiful photos. The one of your dog as the Easter bunny made me smile.
