more fall color

I live in Florida. I grew up in Illinois. So every year I long for the sights and smells of autumn. I've become quite adept at noticing the slightest breath of fall color or scent in my tropical environment. YOU may not think these photos look very autumnal, but to me, they are (almost) as satisfying as a flaming maple or oak or beech. And speaking of beaches … there are a few other advantages to living on the Florida gulf coast ;)

you have an eye for it. It must have taken a lot of training to be able to see such beautiful fall colors in FLORIDA. I can tell you have been practicing.

You have that right! About the advantages of living in Florida. I have developed a pretty good idea for noticing its seasonal changes, too. Pretty pictures, Leslie!

I love these shots; the colors are beautiful... I would think there are lots of advantages living on the gulf coast one being near the water.

I try to search for autumn too but it's very difficult to find around these parts.

Looks like summer is still giving you kisses there. ;o) Oh, but I know what you mean, Leslie. I so miss the very color-rich autumns back home there. Things here tend to just got yellow, burn brown and fall off without much fanfare... But still, I do try to see the beauty in it--it's just different. Glad to catch up with you. I've been MIA a couple weeks due to some very full days. And when are they note, right?! LOL... Happy Days ((HUGS))
